DAISY2009 Open Source Linux Player Review

In order to extend the support for both Audio and Video formats in DAISY, the architectures of open source DAISY players under Linux are reviewed.

Follows a review of Open Source DAISY player under Linux by Willem. This is the transcript from which a comparison table was created (see image attachment to this post).

A look at, and comparison of the currently available open-source Daisy players

The following programs will be discussed: Amis, Daisy-delite, DBR, Emerson, Idair, Listen-up.
All these programs are free of cost and open-source which both are big advantages.
